Özet

Bu yari deneysel çalismada, Ortaögretim hazirlik sinifi ögrencilerinin elestirel düsünmeye yönelik tutumlarina egitimde drama ve sahneleme yöntemlerinin etkisinin olup olmadigi belirlenmeye çalisilmistir.
Arastirma 2003-2004 ögretim yilinin bahar yariyilinda Adana Ili Seyhan Ilçesindeki bir resmi okulda yapilmistir. Arastirma, iki deney ve bir kontrol grubunda bulunan toplam 78 ögrenci üzerinde gerçeklestirilmistir. Çalisma 12 hafta sürmüstür. Derslerde I. Deney grubunda egitimde drama yöntemi, II. deney grubunda sahneleme yöntemi kullanilmistir. Deney gruplarina ve kontrol grubuna “Elestirel Düsünmeye Yönelik Tutum Ölçegi” ve “Anket Formu” öntest ve sontest olarak verilmistir. Arastirmada, tutum ölçeginden elde edilen veriler üzerinde istatistiksel teknik olarak kovaryans analizi kullanilmistir. Analizlerde anlamlilik düzeyi .05 olarak alinmistir.Sonuç olarak, Paranormal inançlar alt ölçegi açisindan, deney gruplari ve kontrol grubu arasinda anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Deney gruplari arasinda da anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Açik fikirlilik alt ölçegi açisindan, deney gruplari ve kontrol grubu arasinda anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Deney gruplari arasinda da anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Katilik alt ölçegi açisindan ise, deney gruplari ve kontrol grubu arasinda anlamli fark bulunmus ancak, deney gruplari arasinda anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Tartisma alt ölçegi açisindan, deney gruplari ve kontrol grubu arasinda anlamli fark bulunmamistir. Deney gruplari arasinda da anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir.  Kadercilik alt ölçegi açisindan bakildiginda, I. Deney grubu ve kontrol grubu arasinda anlamli fark bulunmustur. Deney gruplari arasinda anlamli bir fark bulunmamistir. Bilissel çaba alt ölçegi açisindan, Deney gruplari ve kontrol grubu arasinda anlamli fark bulunmamistir. The Effect of Bertolt Brechts' Didactic Plays which are prepared based on drama in education and performing methods on preperation class students' critical thinking dispositions.


Abstract

In this present quasi- experimental study, the effect of Bertolt Brechts'didactic plays which are prepared based on drama in education and performing methods on preperation class students' critical thinking dispositions were investigated. This study, which lasted twelwe sonsecutive weeks, was conducted on one public secondery school in the district of Seyhan- Adana in 2003-2004 academic year. The participants of the study were 78 students that they were divided into two experimental and one control groups. For the purpose of this study, the firt experimental group as instructed using drama in education method, the second experimental group were instructed performing method. The instruments used in the study were “Critical Thinking Dispositions Scale” and “Questionaire Form” both of which were administered as pre- and post- tests..In this research, data obtained by Critical Thinking Dispositions Scale were operated by statistical techniques of covariance analysis. The Level of Significance was .05. As a result, There was no statistically significant difference between experimental groups in terms of paranormal beliefs sub-scale scores. Similarly, there were no significant difference in terms of paranormal beliefs subscale scores among experimental groups and control group. There was no statistically significant difference among experimental groups and control group in terms of openmindedness subscale scores and there was no statistically difference were observed between two experimental groups also. There were statistically significant difference among experimental groups and control group in terms of absolutism sub- scale scores in favor of the experimental groups. But, there was no statistically significant difference in terms of absolutism between the first experimental group and the second experimental group. There was no statistically difference among experimental groups and control group in terms of argumentation subscale scores and there was no statistically difference were observed between two experimental groups also.There were statistically significant difference observed between the first experimental group and control group in terms of  fatalism subscale in favor of the first experimental group and there was no statistically significant difference between two experimental groups.  There was no statistically difference among experimental groups and control group in terms of cognitive  subscale scores and there was no statistically difference were observed between two experimental groups also. There was no statistically difference among experimental groups and control group in terms of cognitive  endeavour subscale scores and there was no statistically difference were observed between two experimental groups also. There were statistically significant difference observed between the first experimental group and control group in terms of  dogmatism subscale in favor of the first experimental group and there was no statistically significant difference between two experimental groups.
