Hayat Bilgisi Dersinde Bazi Sosyal Becerilerin Kazandirilmasina Yaratici Drama Yönteminin Etkisi

Özet

Bu çalisma Hayat Bilgisi Dersi kapsamindaki ‘Köyü Taniyalim' ünitesinde selam verme, çevreyi koruma ve paylasma-isbirligi sosyal becerilerinin kazandirilmasinda yaratici drama yönteminin etkisini arastirmak amaciyla gerçeklestirilmistir.

Arastirma bir deney, iki kontrol grubu modeline göre desenlenmistir. Çalisma Adana Ili Seyhan Ilçesinde bulunan Özel Bilfen Okulunun Ilkögretim üçüncü siniflarinda yürütülmüstür. Deney grubunda 19, düz anlatim yönteminin kullanildigi birinci kontrol grubunda 17 ve ikinci kontrol grubunda 15 olmak üzere toplam 50 ögrenci ile çalisilmistir. Deney grubuna program haftada 4 gün, birer ders saati olmak üzere 16 ders saatinde uygulanmistir. Birinci kontrol grubunda düz anlatim yöntemi kullanilmis, ikinci kontrol grubunda hiçbir islem yapilmamis dersler sinif ögretmeni tarafindan islenmistir. Ön ölçüm ve son ölçüm olarak arastirmaci tarafindan hazirlanan Sosyal Beceriler Gözlem Formu (SBGF) kullanilmistir. Bu formun geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalismalari arastirmaci tarafindan yapilmistir. Ayrica çalisma grubunun kisisel özelliklerini belirlemek için Kisisel Bilgi Formu (KBF) dagitilmistir. Ön ölçüm ve son ölçümden elde edilen veriler üzerinde kovaryans analizi uygulanmistir.

Bulgular, Hayat Bilgisi Dersi'nde selam verme ve paylasma-isbirligini becerilerini kazandirmada yaratici drama yönteminin etkili oldugunu, çevreyi koruma sosyal becerisini kazandirmada ise etkinin anlamli olmadigini ortaya çikarmistir.

Abstract

The Effects Of Creative Drama Method On Developing Some Social Skills In 3rd Grade Social Studies Class

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of creative drama method on developing greeting, care for environment, sharing-cooperation social skills in Our Village unit of 3rd grade social studies class.

This research was designed according to one experimental and two control groups modeling. 19 students who attends the third grade of primary school were assigned to experimental group. First control group was consisted of 17 and second control group was consisted of 15 students.

Creative drama activities were used to develop social skills of students as a treatment for the experimental group. The treatment consisted of 16 hours, 40 minutes sessions that equal a class hour in school that 4 hours in a week. First control group was treated traditional teaching method by investigator. Second control group had been taught by classroom teacher as the way he/she does traditionally. Social Skills Observation Form (SSOF) developed by the researcher, was used to measure variables of the study. Data were processed by using covariance analysis.

Findings indicated that creative drama method has significant effect on sharing-cooperation and greeting but not significant effect on care for environment social skill.
